Dr Sooksripaisarnkit combines legal scholarship with experience in private practice, academic teaching and international dispute resolution. His doctoral research focused on marine insurance law, while his subsequent work has covered maritime law, conflict of laws, international commercial law and arbitration.

Dr Sooksripaisarnkit holds an LLB from Thammasat University and an LLM and PhD from the University of Leicester. He has worked in Hong Kong in both private practice and legal academia and has been a Lecturer in Maritime Law at the Australian Maritime College, University of Tasmania since 2016.
